So we all know that the first Devil May Cry game was originally going to be a sequel to the Resident Evil Series. If you didn't know that, well then you just learned something new.

Anyway, I've been thinking about what Dante would be if he was part of the Resident Evil saga. Dante's abilities came from a new strain of virus? And what of Vergil? Would Vergil worked along side with Albert Wesker? Would Dante and Chris be allies? ect.

Don't get me wrong, I love the DMC series. It's really just a thought that's been creeping in the back of my head. Anyway.... let your thoughts go wild with this one lol.

I actually find this pretty funny when thinking about it.

If was Vergil is still...well Vergil, then I doubt he and Wesker would have worked togeather or atleast it wouldn't last too long (aka: Vergil and or Wesker would have tried to kill each other before the game ended).

I can see Dante being a more so of a mercenary or something then being real allies to Chris, Jill, and all the others. He would either be invesitageing soemthing that will lead him to some trouble (Hey, it normally happens anyway) and sooner or later run into them and help them out while trying not to die in the process.

Personally the best thing I can think of when I think of this is the image of Dante going head to head with the Nemesis and or Vergil and Wesker doing battle, that makes me smile.

dante would be the bodyguard of the president along side leon, they'd be partners and they would kick ass!

Dante would have been Leon....

Simple as that.

The resident evil game in question was meant to star Leon but due to the supernatural feel they changed the name to DMC and changed Leon into Dante.

Leon's RE4 character is way too Dante-like after all. He's cocky, throws funny comments at his enemies, does Dante-like cool moves, and in the end, he escapes at the last minute with a girl from an exploding island. DMC1 much?

I played first Resident evil game and stopped after that, but one look at Leon and my "Dante" radar starting going off like a police siren.

Speaking of res 4 why does every RE fan I meet say it was not scary

the time it came out zombies had turned from something we feared to something we wanted to kill with a head shot and really resident evil 4 tried to scare you with the basic idea rather than jump scares
I mean come on in res 4 head shot did do damage
but had ( very high) chances of making it more powerful

One of the main reasons it was not scary was because Leon was to overpowered.

He is a badazz special agent by this time who has alot of training under his belt. He can superplex ganadoes can kick entire groups of them away in an instant. Not to mention the option of upgrading your weapons making them MUCH stronger and the amount of ammunition given during the game always keeps you fully stocked on ammo.

It really did not give you a sense of "horror" when you know all you have to do is shoot a ganado in the leg and superplex/kick them to K.O them. And the ammo issue makes it to were you almost never run out of ammo.

Also the fact that most of the ganados are just not scary. They look pretty much human (until later in the game). They do not try to eat you (except for one perticular one) and they are pretty easy to handle thanks to the new "melee move" feature.

The only enemy in the entire game that was scary was the "Regenerator".

I dunno the garradors were pretty
scary

Well actually DANTE is LEON considering he was supposed to be leon in RE4 prebeta he is alternate SICK counterpart of himself

I don't really see anything in leon that resemble dante except for his eyes....or maybe i watched the RE: Degeneration before playing the game.Leon was just too serious in that...
