Who the hell is mean to Lindsey Stirling? I hope every person that's taken personal shots against her broke out in hives immediately after--and continued to until they stopped being pricks. :meh:

+I don't know where my motivation has gone, but I hope it comes back soon. I really don't like the untethered, directionless thing that's going on.

I don't think I'm going to hit 20k for NaNo, much less 50... And that's all right. I haven't really outlined Static, and while pantsing has worked occasionally, I feel the need to properly outline the rest of the story before typing any more. Or at least get the majority of the outline down. I still don't know how I want this to end, and I think this is ultimately what's standing in my way of progressing further.

I'll still try to hit at least 20k, though.

Edit: Better yet, I can spend the rest of NaNo editing my MG, then return to outlining Static once the fervour of NaNo is over, since it'll make it far easier to focus without the proverbial pendulum swinging over my head.

I liked the RWBY references they added to Doctor Sleep.

Apparently they wanted to do a prequel with Dick Halloran, the cook who happened to be psychic. I'm curious how it would go but i rather it be set before he joins the Overlook hotel.

I started listening to Legacy of Time, the 20th anniversary of Doctor Who at Big Finish. Its a six episode box set and i finished the first two. I liked the 8th doctor more than the 7th doctor one.

Skittles, I appreciate you keeping me company while I'm quarantined in my room...but do you have to be so noisy about it? Pulling all the coat hangers out of the wardrobe and trying to knock over the printer whilst yowling for attention is not really helpful...

Trying to explain to someone that you should be nice to people and why it's a good thing to be nice, only to have them turn around after your (lengthy) explanation and essentially say "being nice is meaningless if there isn't a reason for it" is just... -slow sigh- Why do people have to put some higher value onto stuff like this? Is it not enough to just see another person feeling happy or encouraged? Are people so bitter and hateful and soulless that everything has to be a transaction? "I want this person to be happy" should be reason enough to be nice, so should "it's just good manners to be nice"; don't be a joy-hog just because you're unhappy in your own life and want to take it out on everyone else....

Excuse me, but this is confusing, because at least in my country Skittles is a candy... so I just have to ask you if I should start preparing for some kind of a revolution where candies are taking control over human souls----
--- wait a second, they have already done it

Oh wow. I mean, yeah, as a law student I've pretty much grown to follow this statement ("being nice is meaningless if there isn't a reason for it") in business life. But that is some really bad life coaching in every other life situation. I love to be nice and smile at the cashier in the grocery store and even do some small-talk to cheer them up... even though I'm often just accidentally confusing them, because small-talk and telling the cashier why do you need a bunch of fresh thyme today isn't really a thing here. So I guess I'm pretty much failing it :P

Lol, skittles are sweets here too...it's also the name of my cat.

Who is pretty much a lunatic.
Is it weird that I knew it was your cats name but I still imagined you being trapped in a room by a rogue bag of Skittles?

Thinking about stupid teenagers, at least I hope this was a crappy joke. I came across a violent threat on an anonymous discussion board. Of course I called the police and everything is under control, just that I'm feeling really anxious about this.

Funny thing though, the police called me back to get all the details and screenshots. The caller was from a pretty high level, sort of my country's FBI.
So imagine getting a phone call beginning with these words: "Good afternoon, this is Pat Pattinson from the FBI calling..."

Okay, I liked it better than I thought I would. Modern retellings are always a bit iffy, though. I kind of wish I could find one that follows through with the tragic ending instead. So far I've only seem the original source material/film adaptations do it.

+ I hope those arrive soon. I need the energy boost--to say nothing of a fix for the metabolism issues. ._.

The valeyard might have been better off as an alternate 7th incarnation instead of a penultimate one.

Granted because of Moffat giving the doctor a whole new set we have 11 more chances for the Valeyard to pop up ;).

Doing some paperwork regarding to my upcoming student exchange, and just wondering why is it so I have to doubt my knowledge about how to fill up all these forms whenever it's possible to question it?

For example: in order to apply for exchange in this particular university, a sufficient level of either German or English is required. My host university told me already in September, that I will have to send them a language certificate about my level in either of these languages. So I've got a recommendation letter from my Legal English teacher confirming that I'm able to communicate in academic situations in English, and it should be enough. I didn't ask any certificates from my Legal German teacher as my main study language is going to be English anyway.

As this is an EU related exchange project, there's an obligatory online language test, which I did in German. Thus I've got another certificate about my German level, which should also be sufficient for exchange. So I could actually choose which language I prefer to use as my main study language (but for practical reasons it's definitely going to be English).

So, I registered to the host university's exchange portal and they are asking for a "Sprachnachweis" (language certificate) to be uploaded. Although I've been told several times that English is fine, I haven't got the balls to upload my certificate, because I'm constantly asking myself "what if they want it about my German level, WHAT IF".

Even if I uploaded a wrong certificate, the worst thing that could happen is that I would get a polite e-mail telling me "Good afternoon miss, thank you for filling up the form, could you possibly send us another certificate? Welcome to Germany, see you soon". I don't really know what's wrong with me

I really appreciate how every NaNo this year has left me with no motivation until the very last week upon which I need to do the entirety of NaNo…andThanksgiving's lying in wait for next Thursday. Always need a little spice in one's writing routine.
