It's entirely up to you how much world building you want to do; don't let yourself fall into the hole of "I can only write if I know every single aspect of my world"--in my experience, that's usually a sign that there's a problem with the plot the writer's trying to work through but hasn't actually acknowledged. If you genuinely enjoy world building and know you're going to use all of it and love the world you're creating that much, then why not keep worldbuilding? But if you don't think you'll use it and it's starting to feel like procrastination, then maybe try writing in general for a bit? Idk.

I love these characters but they're incapable of producing anything more than PWPs and angst atm and it's driving me a bit mad. I really, really just wanna write some long, in-depth, makes-you-think-a-lot plot but idk. Gdi, boys, get it together.
Problem is precisely that I genuinely enjoy worldbuilding for its own sake, but much like other things I enjoy, I fear I may be overdoing it.
