THE KING OF FIGHTERS 2002 was released in 2002 and is still highly praised around the world to this day thanks to its return to the Series’ ”3-on-3 battle” flagship system, the numerous fan favorite characters returning in this 2002 year iteration, and its game balance. Thanks to the introduction of the “Quick Evasion” and “Max Activation” game mechanics, battles get even more exciting and intense.
For the next two days, Dungeons 2 will be available for free on GOG, offering PC gamers an opportunity to redeem a DRM-free copy of this modern interpretation of Dungeon Keeper.
This game was initially released back in 2015 and has received mostly positive reviews on both Steam and GOG, though most of the complaints about this game are rectified by this free promotion, with the most common complaint being the game's length.
Dungeons 2 is also available on PC, Mac and Linux, allowing PC gamers to access this title regardless of their chosen OS. The game weighs in at 2.3GB and can be downloaded directly or through GOG's free Galaxy client.
There are 17 new levels, two new bosses, and a total of 14 weapons, as well as five difficulty levels and four game modes. In keeping with the fact that this is "MiniDoom2", a bunch of the Doom 2 enemies are present, including the Mancubus and Revenant.
Play the entirety of Satellite Reign with your friends in co-op multiplayer. Up to four players can each control their own agent, opening up a whole new level of strategic and co-ordinated play.

Strategic Cyberpunk Action
Satellite Reign is a real-time, class-based strategy game, set in an open-world cyberpunk city. You command a group of 4 agents through rain-soaked, neon-lit streets, where the law is the will of mega-corporations. Use your agents to sneak, shoot, steal, and sabotage your way up the corporate ladder, and take control of the most powerful monopoly of all time.
Each of your agents can be tailored toward your favoured play-style, while still maintaining their own unique specialisations. Shape your team into an offensive war machine, or an elite covert spec-ops outfit, and take the open-world city as your own.
The city of Satellite Reign is one big, open playground. No individual levels to pick between, the whole world can be explored seamlessly. Uncover new missions while you explore, and pick and choose which objectives you want to tackle.
Customise your Team
Each of your four agents can be tailored to suit your play style. Choose their skills, weapons, gear, augmentations, and even their genetic base by cloning exceptional individuals from the general population.
There's no 'right-way' to complete your objectives. The world has been designed to facilitate emergent gameplay, allowing you to choose from and combine a wide range of strategic options. Sneak in through ventilation shafts, hack doors, take out power generators, hijack the minds of guards, or just blow the front door down. Countless opportunities await.
A rogue-lite river journey through the backwaters of a forgotten post-societal America. Forage, craft, evade predators.
From the Art Director of BioShock and a team of veterans of the BioShock, Halo, Guitar Hero and Rock Band series comes The Flame in the Flood.
Travel by foot and by raft down a procedurally-generated river as you scrounge for resources, craft tools, remedy afflictions, evade the vicious wildlife, and most importantly, stay ahead of the coming rains.
Download this weekend and it's yours to keep forever.
You play an anthropomorphic fox named Reynardo who is part of a resistance force fighting against an oppressive emperor. The hook is a magic book that lets Reynardo see potential choices and their results, and go back and make different choices as a result.
Your second free game is Galactic Civilizations 2: Ultimate Edition, which is the regular version of the 4X space strategy game plus the Dark Avatar and Twilight of the Arnor expansions. Again, it's another solid game, and it's aged well since its release in 2011, largely thanks to a huge patch it got at the end of 2015. If you've enjoyed other GalCiv games, then at least grab it and stick it in your library to play later.
Xenonauts is a strategy game in which you control a multi-national military organisation defending a Cold War-era Earth from alien invasion, using small squads of persistent soldiers to eliminate the extraterrestrials and recover their technology in turn-based ground combat. A detailed strategic layer allows you to co-ordinate the defence of the planet, using your interceptors to shoot down UFOs and researching captured artefacts to learn about your foes and unlock new combat equipment to use on your missions.
Xenonauts is a spiritual successor to the classic X-Com strategy games from the 1990s. We aim to improve the graphics, add new content and streamline the interface whilst still retaining all of the key mechanics of the original games. Devoted fans should love this game, but we're also keen to introduce the joys of old-school grand strategy to a whole new generation of players who might not otherwise experience it!
Ground Combat: Xenonauts delivers tense turn-based combat across realistic, varied and fully-destructible battlefields, against almost fifty different variants of enemy. Missions range from capturing crashed UFOs or alien bases to defending cities (or even Xenonaut facilities) against alien attack. You'll experience the chill of encountering a new alien for the first time and the joys of test-firing a new weapon for the first time. Deeply asymmetric combat keeps the battles interesting - after all, you're fighting intergalactic invaders with 1970's ballistic technology!
Persistent Soldiers: Soldiers in Xenonauts are persistent from mission to mission, improving their stats and gaining ranks with combat experience - but their deaths are always only a single bad move away. You will grow to care about the brave men and women under your command as they slowly grow from green rookies into hardened veterans, but that only makes it more painful when their heroic tale is cruelly cut short by a burst of plasma fire...
Research Tree: Xenonauts has an extensive research tree with almost a hundred projects to unlock, each with its own unique description and painted artwork. It slowly reveals the intentions and origins of the invaders, while also unlocking new battlefield equipment, aircraft and vehicles for you to use as you harness alien technology and turn it against them.
Totally Accurate Battlegrounds is a parody of the Battle Royale genre. A bunch of physics-based weirdos fight it out on an island, everything is silly and possibly a bit buggy. 86% positive rating on steam...
