  • What's going on with this "If you don't ship gay pairings you're automatically homophobic" mindset, so my refusing to ship Drarry because it's an abusive toxic relationship somehow makes me homophobic?

If I stepped up to an LBGT+ couple and actually stated "you don't have the right to exist" yeah I'd legitimately come off as homophobic, but me saying "I just don't ship gay pairings regardless of my sexual orientation" doesn't make me hate gay people.

Drarry isn't even a real, canon thing, so not shipping them doesn't make you homophobic at all.

People like to sling the term homophobic around for almost everything these days - it usually seems to be a projected insecurity on their part though. You don't want to ship? Don't. You know your own integrity.
I picked Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem today, so I want to bring this up, I don't get the idea of console exclusives. You're limiting the reach of a game and thus preventing more players who are interested in the game from being able to play it by making it an exclusive unless they own a GameCube or a backwards compatible Wii.

It is inherently an anti consumer, pro corporate practice. Consoles in general would lose a big reason to exist without exclusives, so they're always gonna be there.

Some other cases include devs getting funded by a particular console's manufacturer for the development of a game so they have to make it exclusive to that system as part of the deal. Or they just get flat out paid for an exclusivity contract, which in their figures makes up for the lost market with no "uncertainty of sales" factor.

I also checked that the Wii does read the disc properly.
I'm surprised nobody made DmC videos about Dante's and Vergil's moveset that are actually in depth.

You're surprised? I ain't. Relative lack of depth is often the price you pay for streamlining.

@Foxtrot94 but how is "lock everything behind a button" depth?

I could ask you the same thing. You seem to think that control scheme and gameplay mechanics are synonyms but they aren't. The former is only the means through which you access the latter. Mechanics can exist, or not, regardless of what kind of controls there is, and that's what determines depth. When I said streamlining I didn't mean controls, I meant the actual mechanics in the game, and weapon and enemy design.
Good riddance to Vexen, finally managed to beat him for the re-match. And that's all I'll say.
I swear to God, I'm just about ready to unplug this Xbox 360 controller and chuck it out the ****ing window.
Can I please shoot Marvin Branagh now, before he fully zombifies?

Don’t forget to burn the corpse. You don’t want them coming back as a Crimson.

What? zombies can turn into Crimsons in the remake? don't do this to me man.

I suggest that, if you encounter The Flaming Freezer on Twitter or in the YouTube comment section. don't reply to him or engage him, he's a massive moron. who thinks all animated media automatically sounds better in Japanese.

I try to stay clear from most forms of social media and YouTube. This is the only place I like to socialise online because mostly everyone is pretty chill.
I'm just imagining, reboot Dante during a mission where he's hunting a demon in a sequel that will never happen at this point. when a black wig (identical to the white one from DmC 1) lands on his head, Dante stops to observe himself and then just bursts out laughing with a grin in amusement.
I am interested in getting some Gamecube titles for my Wii, any recommendations?

Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2, Ikaruga, Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, Resident Evil 4 (you can just get the Wii version), and Soul Calibur II.

The GameCube has some awesome, awesome titles. Here's a bunch of cherry-picked games from my arcade: https://i.imgur.com/6fTwpGa.jpg but if I had to choose my favs, they would probably be: MGS: Twin Snakes, RE2, Sonic Adventure, Mario Party 7, and Mario Power Tennis.
I want to play Gmod, it seems like a lot of fun.

It's grown into something enormous now. I used to play it way back when it just featured a posing tool and people would share their work as funny comics on half-life2.net
What's going on with video game box art? everything looks so lazily designed.

Hmmmm I mean I can see why you think it's lazily designed but the game is focusing on Dante, V, and Nero.

I was referring to video game box art in general, a lot of it has gotten extremely lazy. look at Bioshock, or Thief 2014. which is just a shot of Garrett facing forward reaching out for you.
Since when do I have Sonic 3D Blast digitally on Steam? I don't remember buying it, I had it on CD a long time, but that's about it.
If you're a horror fan, you have to own a copy of Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror (the 1922 movie) on Blu-ray immediately.
Reboot Vergil looks a lot like Christopher Reeve, I don't know if I like it. considering his take on Superman is not one of my favorites.
