I like how it's "Dante's trailer" but Nero still makes up half of it. Seems about right...
Not a fan of the gauntlet design, or the DT design. I hope each weapon gives him a new look, or if they bring back Alastor or a similar weapon that has a knight design to it's DT.
I think DMC1 would fit the best with the new engine. My only concern would be with the gameplay... I'd expect them to stay true to it's general gameplay design.
The atmosphere would be tough to recapture, but I think they could do it. It would be a good learning experience for them, and who...
Even if I get the deluxe version... I'll be sure to avoid downloading the add-on content until after beating the game a few times (if it's even that good).
I like knowing what the game actually feels like without any additional content affecting the experience. No idea how optional these things...
That could be easily explained by Arkham's limited knowledge, and limited skill with demonic power. If Capcom wanted to, I really don't think it would be tough for them to give Dante or Vergil that ability. Lots of ways to explain it, imo.
I could imagine them having the ability to regenerate limbs in their DT form. They morph, and grow horns / tails / wings anyway.
If they wanted to, I'd imagine it wouldn't be hard to explain any limb regeneration that way.
I definitely disliked / hated the DmC universe / characters.
I would have preferred if they just continued the story with the new gameplay. Instead of demon / angel, they could have just had light / heavy for the two styles.
No, but his lack of quips were out of character. I just can't imagine DMC1 Dante holding his tongue over zombie helicopters, haha. He would have a field day on that alone.
It made him seem depressed or damaged in some way as a character. As if something tragic happened to him.
I'm still annoyed that DMC4 didn't use DMC1's personality. If DMC5 ignores DMC2's personality as well, then that doesn't exactly give me hope for the story. So far, I've gotten the impression that Itsuno doesn't even care about the characters in the slightest.
So, DMC2 Dante's personality is pretty much confirmed to be retconned then?
Based on what we've seen in the trailer, it doesn't seem like they'll do a single thing to explain Dante's personality shifts. Seems like they'll just stick to DMC3's personality, as if he hasn't aged a single day.
