  • Is Bleach any good? Found it on Netflix, and I kinda wanna watch it just for Johnny Young Bosch

I wish I'd seen Bleach before getting to experience some of the better battle shonen out there because after enjoying those, I found the series...lacking.

The power system's arbitrary, every major arc seems to be modeled after the SS arc, the characters are pretty one note and boring, the fights follow the repetitive "I have the upper hand no, I HAVE THE UPPER HAND", the abilities are OP on paper but then get overshadowed by characters who are just stronger.

Bleach is a Yu Yu Hakusho ripoff anyway. If you haven't already, just watch that one - it's much better.

    Thought this might help.
I'm not gonna lie, been finding all the people asking for a DMC2 remake annoying. I mean, isn't the point of a video game remake, to take a great game, and see how great it would be with today's technology? Which now has me thinking....Much as I'd rather DMC6, a DMC1 remake would be epic.

I know what game you’re talking about and that’s where I said bar a few exceptions. For me DMC 1 doesn’t need a remake because I already love everything about it and I could play it now and get the same nostalgic vibes from it even all these years later. I just don’t want to see it touched, whereas for DMC 2 I couldn’t give a crap what they did with it therein lies my point.

Okay, when you put it like that, I see your point.

Well I see your point as well. There’s definitely some improvements they could make for a DMC 1 remake. I’m not completely against the idea altogether but as we’ve all agreed just focusing on a DMC 6 would probably be for the best for the series here on out.
Watched Bumblebee, that was actually pretty good, not my favorite of 2018, not sure if it makes my top 5 (really I haven't even thought of it yet, there was still a lot of movies for 2018 I still wanted to see) but it's definitely up there.

Side note, finally got 2018's superhero movies figured out. So for me, worst to best, it goes. Ant-Man & The Wasp < Venom < Black Panther < Aquaman < Avengers: Infinity War < Deadpool 2.
Picked up Bumblebee today. Do wanna watch it, same time though, it's late, I'm tired, and have work in the morning. I could go ahead and watch it, and not have to worry about waking up on time. But I don't wanna risk falling asleep watching it, and just being tired. Rather give it my full attention.
Well Bloody Palace was hella easy. Man, maybe everyone was right about DMC5 being too easy.

The game is pretty dang easy though, LOL. Mostly because of the huge abundance of gold orbs and the possibility to use red ones to revive too.

But I guess I prefer that as a way to cater to newer players rather than oversimplifying the mechanics.

Same, though I've made it no secret is is my one big criticism is the fact it gives out gold orbs like they're candy. Hopefully other people feel the same way, and enough mentioned it in the survey and it's fixed in a future update.
*Child's Play remake gets announced* Meh, not a big fan of the series, might check it out if it comes out on Netflix
*Mark Hamill to voice Chucky the killer doll in Child's Play remake*.......You have my attention
Anybody think Capcom will add some avatar's to DMC5? The DMC4 Super Dante avatar I've been using for the past 4 years (on-and-off) is okay. But was really hoping to get a DMC5 Dante or Nero avatar for my PSN account.
Anyone watch the Nostalgia Critic's review of X-Men Origins: Wolverine? He actually does an add for Devil May Cry 5
You know, something that I think made DMC5 a bit extra special (for me at-least), was that it was the first DMC game released since I joined the forums (not counting DMC4: SE, DmC: DE, or the current gen HDC). Was pretty interesting to get hyped with the rest of you and geek out while playing.
Anybody try the alternate style announcer voices? For V and Nero it's Nico. For Dante it's Morrison

I didn’t buy it I got it for my birthday.

So technically I’m a scrub but not by my own doing.

Well hey now, someone went and bought it for you. That should mean more then any special add-ons or features. Plus I'm pretty sure it's available as DLC, that's how it was when I got Resident Evil 2, just buying the Deluxe Edition saves a little money rather then buying it all separate......Plus in my case, I just liked the DE's cover art better.

It would be funny if Vergil was V's announcer and vice versa.
So, I went into the void and turned on auto assist.....Who the hell uses this? I can't control what Dante's even doing. I press triangle and it's making him change weapons and styles and even doing style actions instead of melee attacks....Who willingly uses this?

I think when i started playing Nero i used it. I turned it off after a while.
Finally started a second playthrough. Man, I almost killed Urizen in the prologue. Had to hold back, didn't want to get that joke secret ending

I almost did it as well, though I ran out of time first as I was still getting used to Nero's upgraded moveset.
I did it! I cleared DMC5! Which I can honestly say, imho, is the best DMC game ever! Well done Capcom

    Good to hear.

Hopefully it won't be the same case as The Force Awakens. People love it at first, but eventually realize it actually kind of sucks.

I doubt it. From what I've seen people who hate The Force Awakens did from the get go, and people who loved it still do.
Hey anyone take a close look at Rebellion in DMC5? The blade looks like it has a damascus steel pattern.

Valyrian which is based on real life damascus steel, yes.

Yeah I understand, and you did which is why I said no trouble caused. Plus if people have issues with certain posts they’re more than free to report said posts. Anyhow, there was no need to delete your previous post as I edited it so you couldn’t read the spoiler unless you clicked to view your page. Regardless I would urge discussion/potential spoiler related posts be reserved to topics instead of profile posts.
    LordOfDarkness
    LordOfDarkness
This is simply to keep them out of view of everyone on the boards since profile posts are publically visible to everyone and can’t be hidden on the bottom page of the forums. It doesn’t help when you can’t use actual spoiler tags in profile posts either so this is another reason we discourage people from posting potential spoiler stuff on their page. Nevertheless everything is okay since your previous post was vague.
On mission 12. It does feel longer than the others. But I hear this one has 20 missions just like the last 3 did. I'm conflicted. I don't want it to end lol

This might be the most replayable DMC game to date. Some missions are playable with other characters than what you played with the first time, and the environments are stock full of secret areas and ****, feels like an old school game and I love it.

It is replayable. I doubt we even scoured every bit of the missions. I was trying to not drop into the abyss too much, but it happens because the rooms seem confined. I still love how big the game is, though. I doubt we've found all the secrets even if you go to YouTube and look up "all [x] locations."
Just got to play as Dante. Man, all the fun I've been having. It may be too early to say, but guys....I don't think DMC3 is my favorite anymore....

No dude it's fine. I never thought I would say this but this game blows DMC3 out of the water. As it should be after all, it's a game made in 2019 with a proper development process instead of the messes DMC4 and DmC's were. DMC3 still second best tho. :P

On the subject of microtransactions. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to buy a few blue orbs. Just so I can save my red orbs for buying skills.

On the subject of red orbs. What do you guys think about the new mechanic allowing you to revive at the cost of some orbs? I thought it was neat
