Has UK store ‘Base’ revealed the official Devil May Cry 5 release date?
Could March 2019 be the date to fill our dark souls with light?
We already know that Capcom is intending to release Devil May Cry 5 in Spring 2019, that much they were willing to reveal during their E3 2018 announcement, but it seems that an online UK retailer was willing to go a step further.
According to reputable online store Base.com, Devil May Cry 5 will launch on both PS4 and Xbox One on March 30, 2019 in the UK. However, given Capcom’s penchant for adhering to simultaneous worldwide product releases, if there is any merit to this release date, it will likely mean that both North America and Japan will see an official release on the same date, also.
Base.com is already accepting pre-orders for both the PS4 and Xbox One platforms, but there is presently no listing for the PC version of the game. Capcom has been very supportive of the Steam platform, releasing many of their latest games as Steam exclusives and sidestepping physical releases and even competing digital distributors such as EA’s Origin whose most recent high-profile Capcom product inclusion was Resident Evil 6 — a game originally released in 2012.
