After playing through Resident Evil 6, myself and my girlfriend came up with our own story idea for a Resident Evil game. This is our work which I am posting and hoping to regularly update.
Resident Evil: Condemned
Resident Evil Condemned takes place during the events of Resident Evil 6. The plot mostly focuses on you finding BSAA Chris Redfield. When Claire gets concerned about her brother Chris she follows up her knowledge of his whereabouts. Unknown to her that Chris' ex partner Jill Valentine is on the same mission of locating Chris because she needs his help with something that is unrelated to the events of Resident Evil 6.
However, Jill only finds Chris' sister Claire and the two form a partnership. They travel through infected city streets in an attempt to meet up with Chris. Instead they are caught up in their own battle for survival against Neo-Umbrella. Facing new enemies and trying desparately to defeat a deadly B.O.W hell-bent on killing them.
Eventually during their search they hear word that Chris has boarded an already underwater submarine with his new BSAA partner, Piers Nivans. The two take on the threat of the menacing B.O.W and after defeating it they too head underwater to try to find Chris.
Although just as Chris escapes the submarine before its destruction soon after, Jill and Claire turn the corner and are left to face a mutated Piers Nivans who poses as their final threat in the game. After defeating Piers a race to the exit pods entails, ending their mission to seek Chris Redfield which results in an unexpected failure.
Jill instead enlists the help of Claire Redfield for her next mission due to their new found bond of trust that had grown throughout the cause of the game.

Me and my girlfriend thought about how the combat should flow whilst playing the game and we came to the same conclusion that considering you can play the game as a two player game then combat should become more of a engine that works better when you have your partner helping you. We looked and recent Resident Evil games and thought about how we would want ours to compare to them. Exploring the idea of Partner Actions during Resident Evil games, we both agreed on the idea of introducing Partner Combos.

We both felt it was rather annoying when your combat gauge is empty in Resident Evil 6. Therefore we remembered back to when we played through Resident Evil 5 and recalled that after shooting an area on an enemy or after stunning an enemy with a Flash Grenade you could approach that enemy and perform a pysical attack on them.

What do Partner Combos do?
A Partner Combo is a helpful way of dealing with multiple enemies or difficulty lone enemies. The basic principle is the two players working together as partners to defeat vast amounts of enemies.
Partner Combos
When you start the game you will only have two standard Partner Combos already at your use.
To initiate a Standard Partner Combo
Either player shoots an enemy in 'any' weakspot a few times. Approach the enemy and press the 'O' button. This will prompt the other player to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the Partner Combo.
Accepting or rejecting Partner Combos
When the other player has initiated a Partner Combo you will be given the choice as to whether you will 'Accept' or 'Reject' this action. To accept the Partner Combo press and hold the 'R1' button to lock on to your partner's location. Now you have located your partner press the 'O' button to allow the Partner Combo. Alternatively, after holding 'R1' press the triangle button to reject the Partner Combo. If you reject the Partner Combo then the action will not be performed.
Example of a Partner Combo
An example for a Partner Combo would be as follows. Either player shoots a weakspot on an enemy and then approaches the enemy. The player then prompts the other to accept a Partner Combo. The other player accepts the Partner Combo and then that given action plays out in combat. This could be Jill and Claire pushing back a group of zombies or something along those lines. The action simply means two players performing certain moves on multiple or tougher lone enemies to make combat look more awesome and fluid.
