easy way to beat phantom

hold r1 to aim then jump over him and use helm breaker to land on his back whilst doing damage. then you can slash away until you fall off. repeat and he's a peice of cake

ps. sometimes if you do it right you can put him off balance and he'll rear back in pain. then is a good time to get a few hits in at his face!

Yup that's right. Also if you get the timing right you can hit his Fire Ball back to him and let him suffer tremendous damage with one move. It is really difficult, but pretty easy to do if you decide to fight him when he chases you in the hallway^_^

more advice!!

you can stop him doing the attack where he creates the pillars of fire by performing a stinger attack while his head is in the ground!

also, use a stinger while he charges up a fireball attack to make the fireball explode inside him!!

and if you use the above technique 3 times phantom will turn black and freeze, letting you have a chance to do an all out offensive on the overgrown arachnid!!

(note: while he is frozen i advise jumping on his back and attacking rather then attacking his face, as he will shoot a fireball instantly after turning back to normal)

with this strategy the only attack you should worry about is his jump!

Also the second time you face him (not including the chases) you can beat him without even fighting him. Just stick behind him without doing anything all the time. He will try to jump on you. If he jumps on the "glass" several times he will instantly die, without you doing anything at all.

And even though it's awkward, you can deflect Phantom's fireballs back at him like with the dragon/dinosaur skeleton. And when he passes out from using that meteor shower attack (it happens pretty much every time after that attack), his entire body becomes vulnerable unlike normally where everything except his back/face are invulnerable. (Unless you're on easy auto., but it still does p-issy damage).

my easiest way is to run around the walls thats it

and dont forget the evasion!!!!

and slash him while in mid air
