Well, I think you sort of have to fight as furiously (and stylishly) as possible in the other games.
Here, you can turn off some of the modifiers if you don't feel like doing that. Just my opinion.

Obviously all the games put the emphasis on style cause that's the genre they belong to. But you can always explore other ways. Heck, I've been doing it for years, till I decided I was gonna delve deeper into stylish combat LOL
