As he stood propped against the wall opposite her side of the room he couldn't stop his entranced gaze towards her. His eyes were locked on her, as if magnetically drawn, despite the fact that her eyes were fixed elsewhere. He was confident, so confident in fact that he could tell her his feelings. His confidence was in vain, for he didn't know that she didn't care. Besides, their only connection was a silence in which they had both grasped. He was beginning to lose control, but she was not aware of his stare...Everything seemed to intimidate him, the strobe lights were flashing and her body jolting. There was a cracking as his eyes split in two, if only she knew. They've had this date, from the beginning. Now anything can happen in the next half hour...
Everything seemed to frighten her, didn't feel safe. It was as though she was being hunted. Then again came the cracking, as his eyes split in two. If only she knew... The curtain went down, on him again. Who remains when the curtain falls? Who remains when the curtain falls down?
