You came during the Darth Vader scene. Admit it, I know you did. Don't worry, everyone came during that sequence.

I already came when Vader said: "Don't choke on your aspirations." Now my favorite Vader quote ever. Terminally badass.

Vader was blatant fan service.

Fan service, maybe. But one hell of a well done fan service, if I've ever seen one.

If all fan service has to be that great of a scene, then bring some more, Disney.

Well the movie could've probably worked just fine without Vader in it, hence why I said fan service. I'm sure it's good though.

Hmmm, I don't know. The point of the movie was to tell how the rebels got the Death Star plans. So adding that scene with Vader at the end I think was crucial, cause it actually showed how the disk was barely taken out of the base after Vader's intervention.

And it provides good spectacle while doing so, so why not.

I still think it would've worked without him. But let's face it, who didn't want to see him again.
