Depends on how much free time you have, which depends on whether you have a job or not. I'm still a student so I have a good amount of time for doing stuff like playing games.

I've been wondering that myself, even without a spouse and kids, full time job meant I came back home too tired for gaming. My brother even gave up on games, by the time the kids were big enough to entertain themselves he still couldn't get to play anything, cause the moment the console was on it was like hyenas smelling a carcass, they wanted to play.

It's a choice between making some progress on games or catching up with TV shows some days too when I do have some spare time. Great to have huge RPGs to play but they take up so much gaming time it's hard to fit them in. Working way through shorter games at min to lessen the sheer amount I have to get through.
