Just a head's up, the first episode's borderline terrible in comparison to the second. Also, brace for a LOT of CGI.

Saw both episodes, loving it so far. The cg animation can be awkward for some scenes, but others it looks absolutely spectacular

The textures on the armor and Dragonslayer sword look great. You can see each nick, dent, and scratch.

Not a sword, it was too large, thick, heavy, and much too crude to be called a sword.
By all accounts, it's a hulking mass of iron.
Gotta admit, always been more of a lover of longswords and bastard swords (Big, two-handed, but still practical)
But I dunno, the Dragonslayer just has a certain, appeal to it. Especially when Guts goes all out with it in his black armor

I don't usually care for anime where the protagonist wields a giant sword...but I can tolerate it here since the one wielding it isn't some androgynous bishonen twig...Guts LOOKS like he can wield a sword that big. He's built like a freaking ox.
