The thing is, why buy them at all if you know you won't have the time to play them?
There isn't much I want in terms of games (all not released yet...) so I'll probably get myself 20 bucks for steam and then take what I get XD

Probably just because they'll be cheaper. At least even if he doesn't have time to play them as much as he'd like, at least he'll know he didn't pay full whack.
