I had the same idea Jak -- there would be three worlds: normal Shenmue reality, the Silent Hill nightmare realm, and the hell plane, where you would use dmc physics and combat to defeat your enemies.

If he gets powers in the hell plane, then yes... it just MIGHT be possible.

well, that makes it different if we're not just some guy but a guy who gets powers.. but that would make dante and the bunch isn't that special anymore

I said there would be three separate dimensions with three different types of gameplay (survival horror, hyper action, and Shenmue).

Besides, I don't care if Dante's "special" or not. He's not special to me, and he never will be.

which dante isn't special btw? there are 5 of them, and none of them are the same..

@Rogers That sounds like it would be an awesome game in capable hands. The closest thing I can think of to a hack-n'-slash game resembling that is No More Heroes, minus the "survival-horror" part.

Well, I like Shin Megami Tensei's Dante... and I tolerate DMC1 Dante (but only because he tempers his laid back attitude with moments of complete seriousness).

I adore DmC Dante because he brings just the right amount of everything into the fold. Same goes for DmC Vergil.
