@ZZ18 Wha---? What does being conservative have to do with anything? Were the producers of Clone Wars or Rebels reserved about exploring lore and characters, or were the makers of KOTOR or Jedi Knight reserved about delving into unseen worlds or fleshing out new concepts...two things Force Awakens outright failed to do with five times the hype and budget?

I was reading "story" by Robert McKee and he talked about people being conservative by nature so planning a character arc is critical because people move forward in small steps etc
