Because sharing the same brand must mean they're made by the same studio. Despite Fox and Brian Singer working on the X-Men Films for the last decade.

I refuse to believe Singer's made a bad film, let alone a bad X-Men film, until I see it for myself.

@Teal The only X-men movie I remember not liking was Days of Future's Past, and X-men origins: Wolverine. Everything else has been good. So to say this movie was bad despite doing everything DOFP did and THAT getting stellar scores makes no sense.

@Teal Singer made Superman Returns. At least he knocks X-Men movies out of the park most days. The only ones I really didn't care for was Origins: Wolverine and X2.

Eh, I wasn't too keen on Last Stand. I haven't seen DOFP, but I thought that the general consensus was that it was a good movie.

@Foxtrot94. Thing is the critics loved Superman Returns. It's got a 76 in RottenTomatoes and a 72 in Metacritic.
