The "LIIIIGHT" scene from DMC1 was arguably less cringy, because the stupidity of the line had already been dethroned by the tone of the rest of the game. Keep in mind, this is AFTER Dante's diabetes-inducing speech about Trish "having his mother's face, but not her fire"...I expected cringe at this point.

But DMC4 carried itself marginally serious for a good portion of the game, and then, Dante started dancing about thrusting his dick into things.

I actually forgot about that one. I do remember it mostly as being his go-to quote from the trailer...it's certainly cool, and suitable to his character.
