Apparently for first-time writers, they prefer an 80k word count, or less. It's not a hard and fast rule, but apparently it can make the process more difficult. Either way, I won't stop writing until the story is told.

Seriously? A lot of books now by first time writers look like they're over 80k. Weird. That said, I'll be lucky if I get 50k for mine....

That's what I thought, too. O_O Some of them definitely seem a lot bigger. And 50k is still good! Besides, what looks like it'll only come up with 50k may very well double on you. I didn't think WoN would get this long. ^^;
