After the big arc in Bleach (and not even all of it) I stopped reading the manga and never even picked the anime. I have watched most of Naruto (except the fillers) and the beginning of Shippuden but I stopped there. I still read its manga though. OP manga was great until the first new arc in the fishman island. Couldn't read more. Should get back at it at some point though.

Also,with the Bleach anime ending in 3 weeks and the manga ending in a year,it makes wonder what will take it's place on the big 3?To me,it could either be Gintama or Fairy Tail.

Nah Gintama is on a different league. Action lovers wouldn't like it as much. How come Bleach anime is ending? Since the manga has some more stuff to show I'd think they would use their usual recipe: fillers-until-plot-reaches-the-manga.

Not sure,my guess is that even if they did bring in fillers,people would rage beyond belief because the anime just came back from a large filler arc.

Didn't stop them from throwing fillers for almost 3 years in Naruto just before Shippuuden. That's why I was surprised.

Well....Naruto trolls fans for a living,so does Bleach but atleast they try making some fillers interesting. (It actually had 2 nicely done filler arcs.)

In general though fillers destroy series. Samurai X anime didn't make it to the last manga arc because its fillers had become unbearable thus resulting in low TV numbers.

That is true,the reason I would never rewatch the DBZ series other than a few clips is because of all that filler they threw in which was basically the characters stalling the episodes by standing there and staring at their opponent.

Thank god Kai came out.

Kai was a nice addition,but to be honest,I prefer the soundtrack in the old one that had Bruce Faulconer.And I was really dissapointed that the Buu Saga couldn't get made in Kai.

I'm all for the original Japanese Soundtrack. Apparently in the Blu-rays they switched the new songs with the old ones because the new ones were stolen/copied/something. Maybe in the English version of the Blu rays they'll include Faulconer's songs as well.

Though,Kai does have two songs I love.The Ginyu Force theme and Frieza's Chilling Elegy theme.

The Giniyu Force theme had me laughing for hours. Couldn't believe they'd actually make a theme just for them.

Yeah,the Ginyu Force theme was pretty funny/badass,but Frieza's new theme....oh god....I still rock to it.

Too bad Kai never made it to Buu saga.

Ah yes,the Buu saga,only complaint I have about it is that they turned my favorite character (Piccolo) almost completely useless.

Well, tell that to Yamcha and Tien fans from the original DB

Tien I understand,but I don't really think anyone had faith in Yamcha other than the guys who respected him for scoring Bulma.And Tien atleast had a moment where he took on Cell,Yamcha took on ONE Saibaman and voila,Yamcha's played his part.

That's in DBZ. In DB both were main characters and important to the plot. After the Freezer Saga is you couldn't transform into a Super Saiyan you were useless. But if you could, no matter your age (Goten) you had infinite possibilities ahead of you even when you had zero training.

I guess you're right,which is why the Frieza Saga was my favorite.
(Along with Frieza being my favorite villain)
