Ok here we go, first you go to your blog (signed in etc) and click Dashboard (right up). Then it throws you to some place with stuff about your blog. To me it says "Tony Redgrave's blogs" and has a list with stuff I've seen/other blogs etc.

Above them sould be the name of your blog. Click it. From there, go to Template. And from there to "customize" . Should be easy from there. Tell me if you need anything beyond that/or what problems arised there if you already did all that

i've already done that... its just the background won't stretch to fit or fill the screen completely.
