Concentrated vergil

You can block Sanctus' Sparda Stinger by Rapid Slashing into it. It feels pretty awesome to do.
Going to need this for DMD

COMBO: For stylish purposes do vergil's aerial rave B cancel the last hit with an air trick, then enemy step into a backflip then use storm swords to relaunch and air trick to the enemy it looks epic

Beowulf can actually be automatically just charged to a "level 3" when concentration is maxed out. Just keep holding the charge past level 2 and eventually, Vergil will release the powered up punch/kick. Seems like this is Beowulf's specific concentration mechanic (Yamato got range, Force Edge got multi-hit).

Which reminds me... can't wait till I unlock Super Vergil.
Do you think it might be possible to use distortion on the dragon breaker?

The final hit of Beowulf Combo 2, if charged to level 2, can destroy Frosts' ice shields in one hit.

A quick way to drop Blitz's electric shield is by using Just Judgement Cut (about 3-4 times at Lv3 Concentration on SoS difficulty), adding in some Summon Sword abilities might reduce the number of times required.

Not sure if there's any other faster ways to drop it, but I believe there might be, since Dante can use Gilgamesh to drop it pretty fast, maybe Beowulf could too?

Effective for conserving your DT gauge but you can also use 2 blistering swords to take it down and for DMD Just add spiral swords to the mix

Short question: how do you destroy Mephisto's cloaks with Vergil? Summoned swords can't do it as appears.

Summoned Swords. Even though Blistering Swords is more effective.

But you don't actually need it. You can wreck them even with their cloak on. Stay in the air with teleport and use Aerial Rave and aerial Lunar Phase.

Ah ok, thnks, yes. I killed them without removing it, but i thought that I missed something half-way :) Apparently they need far to many summoned sword to remove it, so i prob stick to normal combat.

Ok…..So now i have new problem (sorry for double post). Can somebody give me tip on fighting Credo with Vergil? I'm playing on LDK and it seems Vergil barely do any damage to him. I spend 5 mins slicing and barely knocked 3 points of his health :(

What I do is waiting for him to do his attack where he stomps his sword on the ground. When he does that, he's gonna stand still for a few seconds. Use Rapid Slash with the launcher followup to hurt him and immediately after that don't do Aerial Rave cause he will block it. Instead use Judgment Cut (better if you can Just Frame it).

Alternatively, instead of Rapid Slash you can use any launcher you want and do Aerial Rave or aerial Lunar Phase.

Be careful not to use Judgment Cut on him when he is not off balance, or he will bash you with the shield.

Ah ok, so basically use same strategy as with Angelos enemies? Ok, thanks I will try it.
