Villains for future DmCs

Wonder about the villains from past DMCs into DmCs.

Because since Mundus is out of the picture. Wonder who'll come next?

And who will be the final villain if there is ever a happy ending? A reaching point of finishing the games' franchise?

Perhaps Lucifer would be the final villain who Dante will take on? Since Satan appeared in the Castlevania Lords of Shadow games as the main antagonist.

Not that I like the reboot, but I suppose if I did, the sequel could bring in some of the bosses we've seen in previous DMC titles, such as Beowulf, since he had a particularly large grudge toward Sparda as well; I know the vast majority of the Demon Realm did, but it seems to me that specific ones were far angrier-perhaps suggesting they had been closer to him, before he turned on Mundus.

If they did bring him in, obviously a redesign would be necessary, since they did it with everything and everyone else.

However, I think, for the sake of a sequel to the reboot, they should bring in some entirely new, fresh faces. As much as I'd like to see what they'd do with the villains of the past, they could probably bring in some demons from actual demon lore-hell, bring in some angels, for good measure. I'm sure there were angels who weren't too pleased with Eva having a family with a demon, right?

A sect of angels (about half) that follows the letter of the Laws, but not the SPIRIT. Repressed, xenophobic, speciest dicks who want to control humanity to "save" them.

I wouldn't mind seeing Agnus make a return, or some kind of evil scientist character. Now that the hell gate is closed, there are loads of demons running around just waiting for a character like Agnus to do experiments on to try and unlock demonic power for human use.

More nephilims, Vergil & Dante can't be the only ones. Then of course we need a crazy vampiress, Arch Angel, Necromancer, and a crazy scientist that performs insane experiments with humans, demons and angels (where have I seen this before ... oh yeah DMC4!)

Azrael: The Heroic angel of death and righteous slayings, for Dante

Samael: The other Angel of Death, not good, not evil, he just IS. He is there for Vergil

Appollyn: Fallen Angel of death and destruction, Self appointed "Anti-God" kill him. Kill him twice
