Just beat Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age on PC and am wrapping up sidequests. The game is really, really good (aside from the music) and I can't recommend it enough to people longing for a shiny turn-based JRPG. There's a lot of bang for your buck here, too, it will take you around...

Dante, for story, V for curiosity. I want to know what Dante's "more serious" journey is all about. I have theories but they're only theories at this point. And obviously I have no idea what's up with V. No hate for Nero, though. I enjoyed him very much in 4.

We don't know for sure Subhuman is gone. It might be reworked. I didn't like the song but I think it is salvageable. I like Little V's version quite a bit. For now they are pulling it from advertising but its fate in the actual game is unknown.

I will never not carry a torch for this Dante's design.

DmC Devil May Cry was doomed because it was a bad idea. Usually if a franchise still has strength, it shouldn't be rebooted. Tomb Raider was turning into a mess both in sales and critically so I understand that one. DMC 4 sold more than any other DMC game but not as much as Call of Duty so...

I mean if you go back a long ways in my post history you will see me talking about a table top RPG I ran based on Devil May Cry where, in the distant future, Dante in demon form is the reigning king of Hell. So I've always felt the series would end this way. Will DMC 5 be the one to do it...

According to Kamiya Dante ages like a human but stops aging in Devil Trigger. If he assumed his demonic form he would be immortal but he chooses to live as a human lives so he ages...for now. Also I think this comes up in the DMC 4 novel. Source on Kamiya: He doesn't work on the series...
