I feel the same way. It's like any game/interest, really. If you like that game, play it. If it gets bad reviews, that's just an opinion of someone else. You shouldn't need someone else's consent just to enjoy it yourself.

I didn't necessarily look at it as sappy. I wasn't really a fan of the dialogue, though. Tried to be too bad-ass in situations that didn't really require it and ended up coming off as forced. At least for me.

I actually prefer the demo as a tutorial as a appose to the way the actual game tried to teach you how to play. The demo was a lot quicker and less tedious.

Thought I was the only one with hurt thumbs, lol.
