I just dont understand...
First they call this a reboot, then do a 360 calling it a prequel, next thing you know Capcom release gameplay vids showing redundant combat, and then claiming its exactly like DMC 3's.
Are they punishing us?
And it just gets even worse...
Its now a prequel?
Did anyone tell that rep to go play DMC 3?
We've seen Dante rise to be a Hero, this is just a silly excuse, why cant Capcom just do what Fans want for God sake?
*sigh*
You see this is why Im finding it so hard to like DmC.
Nothing was wrong with how things were before.
And now this re-envisioning just threatens to take away things that made DMC great.
So rather than being rewarded with sweet exhibition of the newly acquired weaponry, like you say...
Can I just ask, what was the general consensus by DMC-Fans on Nero?
I feel he's a welcome addition to DMC, his appearance and character appeal to me alot, but wish that his playtime and Dante's in DMC 4 was more balanced, it did feel like Capcom was trying to hint at him being the new...
I like to think of Nero as Sparda's reincarnation.
Berial hinted that their was something similar between Nero and Sparda.
Plus I feel Nero's struggle to save Kyrie carries overtones of Sparda's own Love for Eva.
Thats just what I think.
Its not really a letter demanding the game to stop, rather it express' displeasure at the change that the reboot is portraying, he talks more about DMC 2 being the cause of this reboot because it fumbled so badly, then goes onto cite examples of franchises were change in lead character or lack...
Im one of this DMC-Fans who believes adherently DMC 2 doesnt exist.
Its the elephant in the room for me.
But I do see what you mean, while I believe DMC 1 and 3 tie in very well into each other, DMC 4 is alittle disjointed despite the Sparda making an appearance in the game and entrenching...
Agreed.
Nero works better as an additional cast member to DMC, not so much the central protagonist, however, I think discrepancy still exists with him because people feel he's a weak replacement to Vergil.
And what was wrong with Devil May Cry's Story?
Its always been comprehensible has it...
To be honesy with you guys, if the Gameplay in DmC isnt like that of DMC 3 or DMC 4, then this Game is already a failure.
Devil May Cry is critically acclaimed for its over-the-top stylish action, if Ninja Theory just create Gameplay no different from GOW or just Heavenly Sword 2.0, then DmC is...
