Oh you got that too! Cool. I do think that, outside of certain scenes, that game doesn't have the same level of atmosphere of the first one, while still retaining the mature and adult feel, even more than TW1, in that regard.
How you liking it?

I played it back on release already (same with the first one, actually got the collectors edition of that one back then XD)
I only got in into it till after what's it called, Flotsamm I believe, so not really that far. I installed the Full Combat Rebalance, which makes the game a lot smother I think. So far I'm loving it, already tested the Witcher 3, and it looks beautiful I must say, still I won't play it until I finished the 2nd one.

Not into the second one, but likely into the third, I just want to finish each game once, so that I can start over completly fresh, since I'm also reading the books right now (on book 4 currently)

just beat Ninja Gaiden 3 razors edge on hard
i hope you like this boss
cus at the end you need to fight 6 of it
that fight was harder then any other part of the game
but now i know i'm going to wreck this boss next time i fight it
but anyway gameplay wise it was pretty good
still not as good as NG Black
but near NG 2 gameplay
the biggest problem was the focus on the story
while i didn't think it was that bad (tho not that good)
i did like Ryu working with the government basically them sending him in to mess **** up
i much prefer the NG 1 and 2 approach to the story
as in whats happening doesn't really matter were just giving you an excuse to fight cool ****

oddly the 3 with Ayane where incredibly easy for me i guess she just has really strong attacks
but right before the last two bosses
you fight 3 and then when those 3 die another 3 drop down immediately

Working on my New Game + for Batman Arkham Knight.
Some spoilers incoming, though nothing major:
So, I finished my first playthrough of the game last night and I've got a really mixed opinion of the game. On one hand, I really enjoyed the story. Jon (Scarecrow) was suitably scary and made for a great main villain. The combat is much improved over the other games in the series and much more streamlined (though...perhaps a little too improved given I really didn't have to use much other than basic attacks on 99% of the enemies. The drone battles are fun, Eddie's (Riddler) robots were a nice bonus, and some of side missions were really interesting as were some of the "new" villains. So far the DLC's been great (though Harley's was really short). Also, your guest after you reach the chemical plant is just :thumbsup:. Final battle was epic, though.
Now here's where things go south. The Arkham Knight started as an interesting concept and quickly became whiney and annoying and, in my opinion, was a letdown. Even without being spoiled it was obvious who he was and there was no real character growth to explain why he did some of the things he did in the end. Some of the side missions were major letdowns as well (Blackfire, Firefly, "militia commander", I'm looking at you three) and some of the villains were acting really weird to the point of feeling OOC (Two-Face being the main culprit of this). A lot of the missions got repetitive fast and it was extremely disappointing to see that the major boss battles in the game were tank battles. Actually, I can't even call them "battles", it was the same exact fight repeated over and over again. The races were annoying, as well, and the lack of predator encounters really bothered me. Also, this is minor, it kinda bugged me that there were a ton of upgrades and yet they cost so many points that it's near impossible to get them all in your first playthrough. Like I said, minor but I didn't like it. (There were also some plot holes that didn't make sense to me and some missed opportunities for villains interacting, I didn't like that beating up thugs on the street doesn't earn you any XP at all, and I really missed the original challenge map system, but, again, all relatively minor.) Additionally, didn't care for having to complete the game at 100% just to get the full ending. :/
The biggest mixed bag in the game, however, was the batmobile. On one hand, I really enjoyed driving around, crashing into things and shooting drones. But, on the other hand, I found using it to get tedious fast. You can't get away from the car for more than ten seconds and every mission seems to end with you being forced to rely on it. I mean...I thought Batman was supposed to be really strong and stuff, not incapable when his car isn't around. :/ The car also has cr*p handling at high speeds making battles like the excavator one really annoying, really fast. (Also, Eddie's last race is just horrible because of this car's handling.) The main problem is that the batmobile never goes where you want it to go. You want it to turn? Here, you get to spin out of control instead. You want it to jump? Nah, let's just flip you. You want it to go up that wall? Despite the fact that there's a boss who can kill you in one hit coming, nope; you can go up ten feet and then you get to stall and die. That's basically the biggest problem with the batmobile. :/ In the end, unless you practice, you can't get it to do a single thing more than go in a straight line, and the urge to practice is, for me, significantly decreased by the awesome new grapple mechanics and how much nicer gliding is now. Maybe my issue is that I don't like or play racing games and that tainted it for me. -shrugs-
Over all, really enjoyed the game. Great story, great gameplay, but it didn't feel like it fitted in with the rest of the series and it could have benefited from some fine-tuning. About half as much batmobile in the game and twice as many predator encounters and it would have been my favorite in the series, but...it'll have to settle into second behind Origins for now.

Ha I am the complete opposite of you @Shadow it is my personal ffavourite and the combat is a lot better on knightmare mode, my only letdowns were the deathstroke fight or lack there of in a sense and the firefly side mission.
I love the batmobile , launching out of it is epic and the environmental destruction with it is just brilliant.Doing boosted donuts is so much fun too, though I do wish it had more variety.
Arkham Knight was obvious but all that ****ed me off about him was the lack of a h2h fight with him, since he considered himself better than batman they should have had a fist fight.
All in all though epic game and my favorite of the series , I loved the watchtower and checkpoint missions and the other sidemissions and most of all the riddler trophies and riddles etc.
Bring on origins 2 I can't wait.
back on topic I am playing some oldschool lately on snes with mario all stars , mario and yoshi.
I love the batmobile , launching out of it is epic and the environmental destruction with it is just brilliant.Doing boosted donuts is so much fun too, though I do wish it had more variety.

I guess I sounded more negative than I meant to. >_< Over all, I loved the game and it very nearly was my favorite in the series. Most of my complaints are really minor things that probably only are bothering me because of all the hype for the game and because how frustrated I got with some of the missions. This is the first Batman game I've truly been stuck on repeatedly and so it's possible I let that annoyance taint what I was saying. Truth is, I'm probably going to end up replaying Arkham Knight as much as I replay Origins, though I still feel the game would have benefitted from a little more openness with combat instead of just Batmobile all the time. (I miss predator encounters. :'()
I agree about the lack of melee combat for Slade and Arkham Knight. :/ It was really disappointing (to me) to have all these characters who are really good fighters and yet...no actual battles with them outside of tank ones. :/
Origins 2 would be awesome. <3 -throws wallet at her screen to see if that'll make it happen-

I hope they do it. <3 I remember when Origins first came out there were hints that they were going to do the origin stories for everyone, so it would be cool if they actually did that. =D I think it might, too. -also glad for the season pass-

Bloodborne. I was struggling with the Father Gascoigne but he dead now. I still feel pretty bad about the little girl but the I guess they wanted to be d---s. The game is awesome though. Fighting Gascoigne actually had me shaking, I don't remember the last time I got so anxious during a boss fight.
