I was watching the Alex Jones channel the other day, and found out that Rand Paul will be supporting Mitt Romney for the nomination.

In other words, he was trying to compromise with the establishment.

This, of course, is bad news.

Any compromise with the establishment is always a bad thing. The Founding Fathers would have never compromised with King George.

    http://www.prisonplanet.com/the-trouble-with-rand-paul.html

"Perhaps that’s Rand’s idea of playing politics? Come to the table, strike a deal, get what you can. Trouble is, it’s tough striking a good deal when the guy on the other side of the table believes that the government should be allowed to claim — without having to produce any evidence whatsoever — that certain people are terrorists, and therefore should be detained indefinitely without any kind of due process.

    That’s textbook tyranny."

    I like the quote here...(at 3:50)

"Your supporters are intelligent. They're sophisticated compared to mainline Republicans and Democrats..."

He's talking about informed Libertarians and Progressives when he says "intelligent supporters".

He's not saying that other people are not intelligent, just that they don't know what going on. That's all.

What does this have to do with Vergil and the Order? Well...

Before we move on, I just want to say that the guy in the mask has been all but confirmed to be Vergil. White hair, blue-green coat, elegant appearance, it's Vergil, or at least Gilver, down to a T.

Now, Vergil and the Order have most likely been leading the fight against tyranny and demons for a good long while now.

But Mundus may or may not have cut Vergil a deal, saying that he'll "cut back" on the cameras, poison drinks, and debt-ridden banking systems in exchange for Vergil to stop fighting him.

Vergil, tired of the war, will most likely not be in his right state of mind when he finally agrees to the deal, thinking he can change the system from within instead of exclusively without.

    But here's the thing.

    You can't compromise with tyranny.

Even if Vergil was planning on taking over, like Rand Paul is planning on doing (Rand Paul is most likely siding with Mitt Romney so that he can get closer to becoming President in 2016) it wouldn't work. Not in this way.

Not when the other side isn't willing to compromise (under the surface level) under the surface level at all.

Once you are allied with the establishment (Mundus, Romney) you become too corrupted to work towards any real change in the end. (Corrupted Vergil/Nelo Angelo)

Anyway, sorry if you guys don't like this post.

If any of the moderators like Tony_Redgrave disapproves of this, then once again, I apologize. You can lock the thread.

I'm just trying to point out how this could happen in the game, now that I've seen it in real life.

Edit: On a side note, I just want to point out (from my personal point of view) that games are consisted of the best things from real life, while real life consists of the worst things from video games.

    Edit:

    (slightly off topic)

    I like the lyrics here...

"Angel of Darkness...the world is in your hands...But I will fight until the end...They'll follow your command...but I will fight and I will stand..."

I imagine it will be like how I used to play Age of Empires. Declare war on enemy... send secret tribs to make peace with enemy so he can help eliminate my other enemies, then when all that's done and he thinks we're pals, raise a force to stab him in the back and take his stuff.

I couldn't have said it better myself. Vergil thinks he can pull this off, but he'll only end up having both Mundus and Dante turn on him in the end when they realize he's only interested in himself.

Edit: However, to be fair, I remember doing the same thing in Shogun: Total War. :steve:

Yeah, I did. I mean, I just couldn't help but see the parallels between what's happening in the game, and what what's happening right now. Hopefully people will understand the message behind the game and hopefully wake up to what's going on around them.

4chan's guy said Mundus is looking for Vergil because he is key to some kind of power.
I guess Vergil may sacrifice himself in order to save Dante and Kat at the end.

Looks that way. If Dante has Rebellion, then Vergil almost certainly has Yamato, which means that Yamato itself may be the key to a hell gate like it was in DMC4.

    lol, is that right?

But maybe you're right. Maybe people are too busy fapping (not only to pr0n, but to sports, celebrity gossip, and whatnot) to pay attention.

Maybe it's like orochimaru and Sasuke . Mundus needs vergil so that either he can takeover his body or turn him into one of his weapons and then Dante has to stop him. Vergil takes the upper hand during the fight but he doesnt want to kill his brother but he does realize his mistake. He then leaves the human world and ventures into the demon world to find other ways to increase his power.

I think that's better than him dying.

how many times do you really need to mention one trope on one forum in one day. (the number is probably less than three.)

But we don't know this Vergil is evil or not from the start. No?
But from the raptor news site it is he that unleashed his seemly teenage bro in a disco to create havoc.
So yes, there is a great possibility that even normal people got the axe and lead slugs from Dante.

I'm afraid Mundus will be very persuasive in this game, like in the first Devil May Cry. He could turn Vergil to his side, and Vergil will slowly destroy the order from the inside, and betray Dante.

Also, I hope he isn't like the Vergil from previous games. This Vergil wants to help people, rather the opposite of the last Vergil who sought power and decimated everything in his way. As I've said, he probably isn't evil at the start but he could be persuaded to join the other side.

Doesn't sound like the words of a Man who can be broken.

You are probably right. I doubt Vergil will become evil or be broken. But I think Dante will form a different view than Vergil on what could be anything relating to demons, and they will part ways, both combating demons with their own philosophy.
I think this is what will lead Dante to become the owner of Devil May Cry.
