DMC3 Dante to return in upcoming DmC costume pack DLC

So, that’s how IGN managed to get their hands on that saucy DMC3 outfit. The upcoming DLC pack for DmC: Devil May Cry not only seeks to answer the burning question of how to unlock Dante’s classic clobber, as first seen in Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening, but also to provide fans with an even healthier range of wardrobe additions, including: ‘Dark Dante’, a curiously blue-themed clothing offering, and ‘Neo Dante’, a decidedly more hipster-flavoured avant-garde piece that nobody in their right mind would leave the house wearing.

Expect the three new outfits to come bundled together in an as-yet unnamed DLC pack and hit the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Store on January 30, 12 for 320 Microsoft Points and $4.00 respectively.

Update: Psst… Word on the street has it that the DMC3-inspired DLC costume will not only have Dante flaunting those familiar flowing white locks, but will also see the reintroduction of the devil slayer’s classic Devil Trigger form too.

great, now they just need to fix the character, the story, the combat, the lock-on, the styles, the stances, the Devil Trigger mechanics, the AI, the bugs, the abortion, and then we’ll talk about calling this an actual DMC game.

Guess what, nobody cared about the design beyond a week of it’s first announcement except NT, who wouldn’t let go of the idea that it was funny to make fun of the old fans, essentially giving us a big middle finger in one of the first cutscenes of the game under the impression that all we cared about was the hair, enough to cement our opposition to this mockery.

if the new Dante was wearing the old Dante’s face, we still wouldn’t accept him, his personality is the important thing… and his is terrible.

i feel like this game needs a new mode…or something that would make us want to keep playing it…costumes wont do that.
