DmC demo hacks ‘n’ slashes its way onto PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace

It’s time to face those demons, Devil May Cry fans, for a brand spanking new, bite-sized portion of the game has charged its way into a PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace near you. The DmC: Devil May Cry demo is available to download right this very second, for gamers looking to a garner a taste of Dante’s radical reboot of an adventure. The demo comes bundled with two ‘action-packed’ missions for you to devour, available in any of three difficulty settings.

Completing both demo missions will unlock the supposedly really-quite-tricky ‘Son of Sparda’ difficulty setting to further test your mettle.

I downloaded it from PSN and I most say, I am truly impressed by the game. I just loved it! And I had played the old DMC games a ton. Congrats guys.

Wow, way to ruin the flow of combat that the old games had locked down… I feel like I’m playing a dumbed-down hack-em-up for christ’s sake. Where is the manual lock-on??!?! How come I have to fumble my way through 5 lateral enemies before the auto-targeting bullcrap system figures out that I want to engage the enemy directly in front of me??? Is this Sonic ’06 or something?

Not only that, but I have to play as this little girly-man fruitcake metrosexual of a “reimagined” Dante…. I don’t care how “outdated” Tameem imagines the ACTUAL Dante to be, he is and always will be 100x cooler than this new douchy little twilight fairyboy they replaced him with.

    RIP Devil May Cry..
