“Is Devil May Cry 4 for PC Compatible with Windows 7?”

A few questions which have sprung up quite a bit recently concerning Devil May Cry 4 for PC include “Is Devil May Cry 4 Compatible with Windows 7?” and “Will Devil May Cry 4 Work with Windows 7?”. Well, I’m pleased to say that Devil May Cry 4 is indeed 100% compatible with all versions of Windows 7 (Home Premium, Business and Ultimate), as well as the earlier release candidates as well. So if you’re using Windows 7 and still haven’t purchased that copy of Devil May Cry 4 yet – what are you waiting for?

I have Windows 7 Ultimate RUS. (Intel Core Quad 2.0 GHz)
When I run this game, loading screen appears and nothing more((( I've waited for about 15 minutes, but nothig changed((( it shows me just "Loading…".
My friend has Windows Vista (Intel Core Duo 2.26 GHz) and game works Wonderful

  Update your drivers(download from manufacturer website, not with windows update)
  Reinstall the game.
  
  If persists:
  Update your direct X(again download, not windows update).
  Try running in compatibility mode.
  Try changing your system locale for non unicode applications to english(US).

I have
Intel Dual Core 1.6GHz
2.0GB RAM
Nvidia 8500GT
and am running on Windows 7..

The game crashes on random movie play.. first there'd be some sort of video noise or white, black specky stuff scattered around then poof, my screen goes black.. the audio goes on though (also the game, I believe)..

I bought this game originally when I had Windows XP and it worked fine with my 9400GT GPU and I think I had a single core CPU at the time. I used the disc and everything. Then I upgraded to Windows 7 32-bit and tried to re-install this game but it wouldn’t play. I’d launch it in DX9 and I tried DX10, it would launch then go to a black screen and nothing would change after that. It is still doing this after a second install. I am running a GTS 250, Athlon X2, 2GB RAM and I have DX9 and DX11 installed. I tried running off disc and using a no-cd crack. None of that worked. Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2 don’t seem to want to play either. It seems to be a Capcom thing, as all my other games play fine.

I have windows 7 ultimate….and processor is intel core2 duo cpu E7400 @2.80ghz..
and 2gb ram,512mb nvidia card. and i have all the software installed which are required to play the devil may cry 4.
but when i play the game it run very slow i dont know why, please help me what should i do to play this game……..

  I’m going to steal the post from DMCake- Not sure how to quote on this board so I copied but the advice worked for a friend of mine when we were trying to get it playing on her Windows 7 computer (not sure her system stats though so not sure it will work for you)

Hey when i downloaded it from internet and extract it try to launch it it gives an error(error6:unsupported with pixel shader version 2.0 and it also gives another error that is Failed to intialize DirectX10.What can ido to launch it someone please hep me

Hi i have a problem running DMC4 in my Windows 7 when i start the game it loads fine whenever the game says ” Devil May Cry” it always crash i reinstall it 10 times but it crash again and again

Intel Pentium 4
3.20GHz
2GB RAM
