The show was produced by anime studio Madhouse, and was directed by Shin Itagaki. Bingo Morihashi, one of the writers for Devil May Cry 2, DMC3 and DMC4, was also on-board the writing staff.
Synopsis
In Devil May Cry: The Animated Series, series hero, Dante, continues to run and operate his devil-hunting business, Devil May Cry, while struggling under constant financial difficulties. There are also two new regular characters that were introduced to the anime series: Dante’s agent Morrison who visits frequently, and Patty Lowell, a young orphan girl who he saves in the first episode of the show, who also visits frequently and shares a close relationship with him.
While the show’s stories were mostly self-contained, a season-long plot was introduced in the first episode and came to the forefront in episodes 10, 11, and 12.

Yea i love to see another seasson, but with more episodes like ,,The Last Promise'', love to see Dante in his DT and Nero or Vergil ^^ and love to see far more battles than in first Anime ( little boring ).
The dmc animated was awsome i have all the episodes but the one thing i didn't like about it. was that he didnt chaged to his demon form and he defeated every demon really fast. i was expecting a little more action. other than that i was a really good 1st season. ready for the 2nd season
