Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Cheats & Codes

Unlock all difficulty modes, costumes and gallery
At the Start Menu, hold down L1, L2, R1, R2 and rotate the left analogue stick until you hear a voice say Devil May Cry.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Bonus Options and Unlockables

Easy Mode
Die 3 times on the Normal difficulty.
Hard Mode
Complete the game on the Normal difficulty.
Very Hard Mode (Special Edition)
Complete the game on the Hard difficulty.
Dante Must Die Mode
Complete the game on the Hard difficulty.
Heaven or Hell Mode
Complete the game on the Devil Must Die difficulty.
Play as Vergil (Special Edition)
Complete the game as Dante on any difficulty.
Gallery Mode
Complete the game on the Easy or Normal difficulty.
Bloody Palace Mode (Special Edition)
Complete the game as Dante on any difficulty.

Defeat Cerberus at the end of mission 3.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Firearms Locations

Shotgun
The shotgun is found hanging on the wall of the front bar in mission 3.
Artemis
Found after inserting the last item into the statue in the Mute Goddess statue in mission 6.
Spiral
Found on the platform in the Subterranean Lake in mission 9.
Kalina Ann
Given to you by Lady after you defeat her in mission 16.

Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening Goodies and Secrets

Alternate Ending
Kill 100 enemies during the credits to get a different ending screen (Kalinna-Ann weapon recommended.)

Excellent Red Orb Spot
A great place to rack up the red orb count is in the fifth secret mission found on stage 9. Go through the level until you get to the area where you get the spiral. Go through the passageway underneath the waterfall and up through a small tunnel directly across from where you. The secret mission is marked by a few bright glowing crystals. Once inside you must destroy every breakable object within 40 seconds. The jukebox contains 500 red orbs, although there are many other things to smash as well. Since you can repeatedly pass/fail this mission and not encounter any enemies, you can repeat this process for lots of easy orbs!

Lady’s Alternate Outfit
Complete the game with the Legendary Dark Knight / Sparda, and lady will wear her alternate white outfit while fighting alongside you during the credits screen.

Loading Screen Boredom
During the “Now Loading” screen you can press your assigned buttons to shoot your guns or slash your sword.

Multi-player Mode
Activate the Doppleganger style and press the Start button on a second control pad. The shadow form of Dante will now be controlled by player 2 (Super Dante character recommended.)

Original Devil May Cry Reference
During the third mission, in a bar, there’s a jukebox that will play the original Devil May Cry’s battle theme (Public Enemy) for a short period of time when you smash it.

Quick Shotgun Reloading
When firing the shotgun, during the reloading animation quickly switch back and forth from your secondary firearm to skip reloading and instantly be ready to continue firing.
