Devil May Cry 4 for PS3 Includes SIXAXIS Support

N/A January 7th, 2008

Some lucky foreigners have been blessed with early copies of Devil May Cry 4 for the PlayStation 3 and have been even more fortunate to discover that the PS3 version of DMC4 does indeed include SIXAXIS support. However, don’t go expecting to be able to fully control the movements of Dante and Nero with only the SIXAXIS sensor alone, though, SIXASIX support only extends as far as to allow the ability to pan the camera round.

By tilting the PS3 controller you will be able to easily manipulate the camera into a position which suits your liking. It may not be a drastic leap forward in terms of harnessing the power of the SIXAXIS controller, but it’s certainly better than nothing and something that the PS3 version can boast of while the Xbox 360 includes unlockable achievements.

Excitingly enough, the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4 also features another interesting extra: Online ranking modes that take advantage of PSN. To my knowledge, the Xbox 360 version does not include this option which is a bit of a shame but certainly nothing worth losing sleep over.
